I'd be MAD if I had to scratch all that stuff off and wait to find out the sex!! Of course, I think they should send you a postcard the moment you conceive telling you it's all good and you're having a...whatever.
CJ- the scratch offs were something that I bought. Danielle's mother wanted to come to the appt and I wanted it to be just Danielle and myself so I had to figure out a way to make it special for the mom. We had lunch, we bought her a onesie that said "what happens at mema's stays at memas", a magnet that says "don't make me call mema" and then we ordered the scratch offs online. Danielle's family loves scratch offs so they got a kick out of them.
