Okay I think the contractor who came to give our estimate this morning has a serious coke problem. The guy couldn't stop sniffling and then at one point in the pitch he left, went to god knows where (his car? the front porch?) probably to use. The guys just looked at each other and then one of the other workers took over the pitch. They were terrible. It's a shame that it only took one guy (the one who happens to own the company) to ruin the job for all of them. I just got a sense that although the rest of the guys seemed okay, Jay, just didn't seem reliable. So it looks like this is going to be a Do-It-Yourselfer.
Today's To do List:
-post an ad on Craigslist to get a few guys to help with some of the manual labor
-Price tool rentals

did he have a nod? that is a serious indicator of a coke problem - the nod. where he looks like he's like leaning over and about to fall??? that's so sad. the other guys need to split off from him!
