i was going to say in response to your transfers that you mentioned, make sure you mirror the image, especially if there are words involved, because if not, when you iron it on the shirt, it will be backwards.
also, make sure you have a good hot iron, and that you have the right transfer paper. they make transfer paper for light fabrics and dark fabrics. onesies tend to be a bit stretchy, and that may not work so well for iron ons, because the image will work. be sure to get a high quality onesie (not the gerber ones!!) with a tighter knit, to help with the stretching. be sure to wash the onesies before you work on them, that way they will do that first shrink before you get anything put on them! i'm sure it will turn out fantastic! be sure to post pictures!!
